Church Family,

Your Pastoral Team continues to celebrate with you as we say “Welcome Home AGAIN” and have returned to a modified corporate worship and live-stream schedule with no other on campus activities.

As we continue to learn how to appropriately grapple with the reality of COVID-19, we pray that our systematic plan will provide the best steps toward fully resuming all activities while also allowing for prudent methods of individual safety.

To this end, we are updating our incremental plan as follows:

Step 1:  Accomplished!  Praise the Lord!  On Sunday, July 26th, Central returned to modified corporate worship once again and continued to live-stream. We also were able to observe the Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper together as well as hold a Members’ Meeting following the morning service.  We also celebrated God’s provision and providence during this season,

Step 2: We look forward in the coming weeks to be able to resume Sunday morning Bible studies, including nursery, children’s activities, Wednesday evening worship and all weekday activities and studies.  But for now, and the next few weeks, we will continue our modified corporate worship service and continue to live-stream with no other on campus activities.  Updated schedules will be provided here and on our social media pages as changes are made.

We welcome all who are comfortable with returning to the sanctuary at 9:30am for Sunday worship and will livestream the service (links below). Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and our deacons and ushers will be happy to serve you by seating you and your family as you enter the sanctuary.

If you have shown symptoms of the virus over the previous 2 weeks, or may be vulnerable due to pre-existing conditions, etc., we encourage you to continue to worship at home until you are symptom-free.

We do strongly encourage the use of masks while participating in corporate worship and will have a mask available for your use if you do not already have one. We are aware that the Governor’s office has issued a mask mandate, yet we also see where his office has allowed for personal responsibility for those who are accessing religious services. Please exercise grace and mercy for each other in this matter.

As always, we invite you to participate in worship through giving via our online giving tool found here, dropping your offering in the receptacles in our Worship Center, or by leaving your offering at the office in our dropbox located by the front door.

Please also visit our Family Worship Resource page which is intended to support you as you seek to lead your family in continued praise and worship. There you will notice a great tool which your Pastoral Team is excited to make possible- Central’s Home Worship Guide. Our hope is that this tool will help in guiding your Sunday morning worship at home during the weeks ahead or in preparing your heart for worship prior to gathering together.

With continued hope in our faithful God,

Central’s Pastoral Team
